ScanSafe, the world leader in Managed Web Security, is looking for an experienced server side Java developer work within the software development team.
The candidate will be a technology enthusiast with a strong and proven technology experience. You will be joining the existing team to assist with the development of their leading edge security technology.
Key Skills:
- Strong server side Java development inc. multi-threading, concurrency etc.
- Good understanding of WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, HTTPS, DNS, SNMP; experience with traffic captures
- Understanding of HTTP proxy servers is highly desirable; knowledge of WPAD, ICAP, WCCP is a big plus
- Clear understanding of sockets programming and protocol development
- Experience in real-time traffic processing (firewalls, port forwarding, etc.)
- Web Services (XML, SOAP)
- SpringFramework or other IoC containers
- Application Server or Servlet container experience (Tomcat, Jetty, etc)
- Hibernate or other ORM
