Customer Support Technician
ScanSafe, the world leader in Web Security-as-a-Service, is looking for a driven and resourceful Customer Support Technician who will be the front line support for our Clients.
You will be part of a small growing team of core Technicians providing a high level of customer support for ScanSafe’s premier Security-as-a-service product, now being sold via Google, AT&T, and many mainstream partners.
This is an ideal opportunity to gain valuable knowledge of Internet-based security services and supporting a wide spectrum of customers from SMB through to enterprise level.
You will have a passion for delivering excellent customer service, with an appetite to learn new technologies. You must have the ability to work to deadlines, sometimes in a pressurised environment. A professional telephone manner is a key requirement as this role involves pro-active telephone support, together with excellent written English for email communications.
Key Skills:
- Associated degree in IT or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred) or a related industry certified certification in the security field or networking discipline like MSCE or N+.
- At least 1 year of support experience (or 2 years of solid IT experience). Experience in a technical support environment preferred with end user support.
- Strong preference to support external clients in a service organization such as an ISP or SaaS business.
