2009 BCS & Computing UK IT Industry Award for Information Security Product of the Year

In November 2009, ScanSafe SaaS Web Security was named ‘Information Security Product of the Year 2009’ by BCS & Computing, beating out finalists including MessageLabs and SafeNet. The UK IT Industry Awards see a new venture between BCS and Computing, merging the BCS IT Industry Awards and the Computing Awards for Excellence to create one platform for the entire profession to celebrate best practice, innovation and excellence.

2009 SC Magazine Europe Award for Best Content Security

For 3 years running, ScanSafe has received the SC Magazine Europe 2009 award for ‘Best Content Security’, beating out finalists including IBM and McAfee. ScanSafe was also awarded Highly Commended in the innovation category for its Anywhere⁺ solution.

The ‘Best Content Security Solution’ award recognises services that help companies monitor Web and email usage policies and protect their networks and staff from undesirable Web content or email. The panel of judges included chief security officers (CSOs) as well as high level IT security executives.

2007 Red Herring Magazine 100 Global Award

ScanSafe was selected as a winner of the first ever Red Herring Magazine 100 Global Award. The awards recognize top 100 tech startups from around the world that are leading the next wave of disruption and innovation.

ScanSafe was recognized for its outstanding achievements and was honored by the magazine as one of the most successful technology firms in the world. Red Herring 100 regional winners from North America, Europe and Asia of the last three years were eligible for this award. The Red Herring editorial team used a very competitive process to whittle down this pool of 1800 eligible companies to the 100 winners. Evaluations were made on both quantitative and qualitative criteria such as financial performance, innovation, management, global strategy and ecosystem integration.

2007 CODiE Award for Best Software as a Service (SaaS) Solution

ScanSafe won the 2007 CODiE Award for 'Best Software as a Service (SaaS) Solution.' The CODiE Awards recognize achievement and vision in software, education technology and digital content. Presented by the SIIA, the awards are the only-peer reviewed honor in the industry. Close to 1,200 companies were nominated in 75 categories for the 22nd Annual CODiE Awards.
